The way to advance in rank is not only completing missions, but gaing the approval of your fellow members. To rank up you will need to finish at least a few missions to gain a name for yourself, the more the better for the higher up sections. Besides completing missions, members need recommendations from fellow members (in character), because not only do rank ups give you a feeling of accomplishment, they slowly give you more OOC power on the site, until you reach the ultimate goal of Council Member. An application for a rank up has to be submitted and depending on the rank, more missions and member recommendations may be required. The application is then reviewed by the Council, and also depending on the rank, a certain number of council "signatures" are required for the success of your rank. (Usually it will be 1 - 2, except for major rank ups. )
